Our S.M.A.R.T Library is the heart of learning at Lakes Creek State School. As a vibrant and welcoming space, it supports students in developing a lifelong love of reading while building essential research and digital literacy skills.
The library provides a diverse and regularly updated collection of fiction and non-fiction texts to cater for a wide range of interests, abilities, and reading levels. Students are encouraged to explore new genres, authors, and ideas in a supportive environment that celebrates curiosity and imagination.
S.M.A.R.T is also a hub for technology and inquiry learning. Students access digital resources, develop research skills, and engage in guided learning experiences that strengthen their ability to locate, evaluate, and use information effectively.
The space is used for:
