Volunteering at Lakes Creek State School
At Lakes Creek State School, volunteers are an essential part of our community. Your time, skills, and enthusiasm help create a richer learning environment for all students. From assisting in classrooms, supporting events, helping in the tuckshop, or contributing to the P&C, there are many ways you can make a positive impact.
Volunteering is also a great way to connect with other families, meet staff, and gain insight into your child’s learning journey.
Ways You Can Volunteer
We welcome support in a variety of ways, including:
Classroom Assistance: Helping teachers with activities, reading groups, or special projects - contact your child's teacher for more information.
Tuckshop: Preparing or serving food during tuckshop sessions.
Breakfast Club: Every morning at Lakes Creek we provide breakfast for any and all students who would like it. We're always in need of volunteers to help prepare and serve breakfast for our students!
P&C Participation: Joining meetings, fundraising, and planning events.
Playgroups and Community Hub Activities: Supporting programs and events in our Community Hub.
Events and Excursions: Helping with sporting events, interschool sport and excursions.
Your Ideas: If you have skills, expertise, or ideas for ways to support the school, we would love to hear from you!
Even a small contribution of time can make a big difference to our students and school community.
