Our school’s Guidance Officer, Sherie Lesley, provides professional support to students, families, and staff to promote wellbeing, resilience, and positive learning outcomes. Sherie works collaboratively with teachers and parents to support students’ social, emotional, and educational development.
The Guidance Officer’s role includes:
Providing individual and group counselling to students experiencing personal, social, or academic challenges.
Assisting students with their learning goals, interests, and transitions between school years or settings.
Supporting teachers and parents with strategies to enhance student wellbeing and engagement.
Coordinating with external agencies to access additional support services when required.
Sherie is a valued member of the Lakes Creek State School community, helping to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
